Now Playing
Welcome to the 38th year at Coaster Theatre Playhouse and a full season of award-winning plays and musicals, concerts, and educational programming. During winter and spring of 2010 we bring you three plays about people coping with life in quirky, humorous and often poignant ways. Strange Snow will introduce you to two Vietnam vets trying to come to terms with life and love. In Crimes of the Heart you will meet three very diffent sisters dealing with family matters in unconventional ways. Then, travel to the frozen waste land of Almost, Maine, and watch as the inhabitants of this "almost a town" discover wondrous things about life, nature and love. Our Summer Repertory gets off to a rousing start with Rumors, an upscale New York anniversary party whose guests of honor are missing in action, causing rumors to fly! Next up is Clue The Musical, based on everyone's favorite board game. The summer season ends with A Talent For Murder. Meet an aging best selling mystery writer with a priceless art colledction and a handful of greedy relatives, and the stage is set for murder! We end the season with Eliza Doolittle transforming from a flower seller into a true lady in the classic musical My Fair Lady. Last done at Coaster Theatre nearly 20 years ago, we are bringing it back for a new generation to enjoy. We thank you for your continuing support of Coaster Theatre. Since ticket revenue only covers 55% of our operating costs, we count on the generous support of our season subscribers, our sponsors, our donors and all our patrons. To give additional support to Coaster Theatre, please consider joining our 2010 Donor's Circle or being part of our Take A Seat fundraiser. As a non-profit we rely on you. Your support allows us to continue to bring quality theatre to the Northern Oregon coast. Craig Shepherd
