Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are summoned to a remote island off the coast of Devon by the mysterious U.N. Owen. What the guests do have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has been marked for murder. Over dinner, a record begins to play, and the voice of an unseen host accuses each person of hiding a guilty secret. As the weather turns and the group is cut off from the mainland, the bloodbath begins and the tension escalates as the survivors realize the killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again… and again…

ROGERS (male, 40’s+) A competent manservant. He is quick and deft. Dutiful to a fault. Just a trifle suspicious and shifty.
MRS. ROGERS (female, 40’s+) Thomas’ wife, serves as cook and temporary housekeeper. She is a worried, frightened-looking woman.
FRED NARRACOTT (male, 30-40’s) A nice man from the mainland who runs the boat carrying guests and supplies to and from the island.
VERA CLAYTHORN (female, 20-30’s) A fashionable girl, with a cool, collected temperament. She left her last job as a governess to be a secretary to the mistress of the house.
PHILLIP LOMBARD (male, 30-40’s) Previously served as a mercenary soldier in Africa. An attractive man with a touch of the adventurer about him. A bit flippant and sarcastic, with an air of supreme confidence.
ANTHONY MARSTON (male, 30’s) Young, handsome, privileged, rich, entitled, brash, and spoiled. Loves fast cars, and a good time.
WILLIAM BLORE (male, 40’s+) A big, brash man who used to be a police inspector. Smart, but more of a doer than a thinker. Suspicious and sharp eyed.
GENERAL ARTHUR MACKENZIE (male, 60’s+) A soldierly old man with a gentle, tired face. Comes across as a little senile.
EMILY BRENT (female, 50’s+) A spinster with a disagreeable, suspicious face. She is overly pious, bigoted, disdainful, and judgmental.
SIR LAWRENCE WARGRAVE (male, 50-60’s+) A recently retired judge, intelligent, shrewd eyed, and methodical. Accused of convicting an innocent man to hang for a crime he did not commit.
ARMSTRONG (male, 40-50’s) A fussy, tired looking man. Intelligent, but easily led. Specializes in nervous conditions.
AUDITION REQUREMENTS AND MORE INFORMATION
Arrive prepared to fill out an audition form or download an audition form to fill out and bring with and make sure to bring your schedules and conflicts. Everyone will read from pre-selected sides from the show.
Rehearsals will begin April 14th. Rehearsal schedule is dependent on actor’s conflict calendars. Any conflicts not given at the time of auditions could result in recasting.
