Coaster Theatre Kidz 2025 Summer Camp
CAMP COUNSELORS
DATES: July 14-18, 2025
TIME: Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
WHO: Ages 16 years & up
The Coaster Theatre Playhouse is looking to fill two camp counselor positions to assist our Executive Director during our 2025 Coaster Theatre Kidz Summer Camp.
Counselors must enjoy working with 8-12 year olds and be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist with morning yoga instruction
- Assist in music, dance, acting and art instruction
- Lead, assist and participate in games and activities
- Walk campers to the park for lunch and supervise campers while at the park
- Assist with daily camper check out
Camp counselors receive a stipend for the week of work.
Coaster Theatre Kidz Camps focus on common aspects of theatre arts: acting, singing, and dancing. There are also visual art and writing components. In addition to improving confidence and creativity, campers are exposed to teamwork, respect, and unlimited imagination while creating a show and characters of their own. This year’s summer camp, ARTISTIC ANIMALS, will explore animal characters that are also artists, for instance a giraffe that paints, or an elephant that dances. Each campers character will develop a story about their unique and talented animal character while learning songs and poems that coordinate with the theme.
