The fabulous performers from Darcelle XV Showplace will return to the Coaster Theatre Playhouse this September!
The performers of Darcelle XV & Company, based in Portland. have been entertaining audiences in all walks of life for over 50 years with Las Vegas-style cabaret revues of glitz, glamour and comedy at the legendary Darcelle XV Showplace.
In July 2023 WILDFANG, Darcelle XV Showplace, and Eden Dawn teamed up to stage the longest drag artist show. The Drag-A-Thon event took place at Darcelle XV Showplace in Portland and lasted a record breaking 48 hours, 11 minutes, 30 seconds.
The performers from Darcelle XV Showplace continue to honor the amazing legacy of Darcelle XV (Walter Cole). Darcelle was an absolute legend of Portland’s entertainment landscape. Walter was an author, playwright, actor, costume designer, owner and headliner of the Darcelle XV Showplace: the oldest continuously running cabaret in the United States, celebrating over 50 years. In 2018, Darcelle was named the Guinness World Record’s “Oldest working drag queen”. His autobiography “Just Call Me Darcelle” is available on Amazon.com.
