Three seasoned performers from legendary groups have joined to form the Folk Legacy Trio, singing the very best songs of the great folk era from the ‘50s through the mid ‘70s. Each of these remarkable talents brings their years of experience to the Folk Legacy Trio in a display of vocal and instrumental excellence that has left audiences begging for more.
They have been called the “living library” of the music of their generation and their dynamic harmonies have thrilled audiences, taking them on a journey to the past and breathing new life into the beloved songs made famous by such artists as Peter, Paul & Mary, The Kingston Trio, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, The New Christy Minstrels, Bob Dylan and many more.
Folk Legacy Trio members include:
GEORGE GROVE, former member of The Kingston Trio for 41 years
RICK DOUGHERTY, formerly of The Limeliters and the Kingston Trio for 25 years
JERRY SIGGINS, formerly with the legendary doo-wop group The Diamonds for 27 years.
In their very first year together their outstanding shows earned them the cover shot in the June issue of the Vegas Voice, followed by sell-out crowds at their Las Vegas shows. Their recent mid-west tour brought more accolades with the venues contacting the booking agency to say, “BEST SHOW EVER!”
Bringing fans from their previous groups with them, they have already established a solid fan base that is eager to hear them in their new configuration.
