Wow! What a summer… It was a crazy, beautiful, fun-filled summer at the Coaster Theatre. We were having so much fun our favorites list went on a 3 month hiatus so this list is a bit long but full of some great theatre related links.
We spent our summer battling man-eating, world conquering plants in Little Shop of Horrors and battling artistic temperaments and wrangling over wills in It Could Be Any One Of Us. After closing our summer shows we went straight into preparing for our 3rd Annual Fundraiser featuring Pink Martini. They hit the stage this past Saturday to a sold-out house and the theatre was jumping, swinging and grooving. Now that the madness of summer has lessened we are setting our sights on cooler weather and our fall show Bell, Book and Candle which opens on Friday, September 25th. We are also in rehearsal for our holiday musical – Once Upon A Mattress. So really, the activity never really stops around here. Hope you had a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing you at the theatre!
